Geotech is a privately-owned company with deep roots in the northern West Coast of the South Island. Geotech has delivered ground engineering solutions to businesses for more than two decades, with hundreds of successfully completed projects throughout New Zealand and Australasia.
Geotech has a professionally trained workforce of highly skilled specialists and operators with experience in extreme, challenging and often sub-alpine topography. We are adept at mobilising to remote or difficult access sites, in both metropolitan and regional areas.
Principal, Managing Director and Geologist, Anthony Black started the company in the 1990s. The company has been developed on these foundations, and Geotech was incorporated in 2000.
Anthony is an active manager of the business, he co-ordinates the establishment of all projects before handing over to Project Managers. With a BSc (Hons) in Geology and Geochemistry, as well as quarry, mine and tunnel manager qualifications, Anthony is well equipped to assist in various project requirements.
